GETTING HERE & LOCATION

How to find us.

Where exactly is the hostel located?

We’re located right next to the main station: Wolbecker Str. 1, 48155 Münster. Ideally situated – the city centre on one side, the lively Hansaviertel on the other.

How do I get from the main station to you?

On foot it’s only about 5 minutes (350 m): Simply exit the main station, turn right onto Bahnhofstraße and walk straight ahead – you’ll find us right at the intersection with Wolbecker Straße.

By bike it’s even faster. Münster is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Germany – you can reach almost everything comfortably by bike.

Is there parking for cars?

There are no dedicated parking spaces directly at the hostel. Public parking is available nearby. If you’d like to leave your car for longer, we recommend the Stadthaus 3 car park – parking there costs around €5 per 24 hours.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Arriving and departing.

When can I check in?

Check-in is available daily from 4–8 pm at the reception. Our reception is also open at the following times: Mon–Fri 8 am–12 pm and Sat & Sun 9 am–1 pm – you’re welcome to drop off your luggage during these hours.

Self check-in is possible outside reception hours, provided the rooms are ready – the earliest is 1 pm. The booking must be paid in advance and you need to contact us ahead of time so we can prepare everything.

When do I have to check out?

Mon–Fri check-out is until 10 am, Sat & Sun until 11 am. If you’re leaving early, simply drop the key into the letterbox slot at the reception – no need to wait for us.

What room types are available?

We offer a wide range of rooms for every need:

Private Rooms
Single room · Double room (with or without en-suite bathroom) · Twin room (with or without en-suite bathroom)

Multi-bed rooms (Dorms)
3-bed dorm · 4-bed dorm (FLINTA* only) · 6-bed dorm · 6-bed dorm (female only)

The FLINTA* room is reserved exclusively for FLINTA* persons (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people). The female-only room is reserved exclusively for female guests.

Our multi-bed rooms come with either shared or private bathrooms depending on the category.

Is bed linen included?

Yes, fresh bed linen is included in the price in all our rooms.

Are towels available?

Towels can be borrowed free of charge at the reception.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the entire hostel.

Is there a kitchen or the option to cook?

Yes! Our guest kitchen is available to all guests. It’s equipped with a stove, oven, fridge as well as free coffee and tea. And the best part: the kitchen has access to our lovely rooftop terrace – perfect for a relaxed evening.

Is there bike storage?

Yes, we have our own secure bike storage area for guests. Access works simply with your room key.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately not – pets are not permitted at Sleep Station.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Booking and paying.

How can I book a bed or room?

The easiest way is directly via our website – click on “Book” and select your desired dates. Booking via our website always gives you the best price and free cancellation until 2 pm on the day of arrival. Alternatively, you can also contact us by email: info@sleep-station.de

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, debit card, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfer.

Do I have to pay in advance?

For standard bookings, no advance payment is required. You simply pay on site at check-in. For group bookings or special rates, a deposit may be required.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes. When booking through our website, free cancellation is always possible until 2 pm on the day of arrival. Group bookings are subject to separate conditions. Changes can be made at any time by email.

Will I receive a booking confirmation?

Yes, immediately after booking you’ll receive a confirmation by email with all relevant information about your stay.

Is there an age limit?

Guests aged 18 and over are welcome. Young people aged 14 and over can also stay with us but require a written consent form from their parents or legal guardians.

Is there a common room or shared area?

Yes – there’s a guest kitchen and a rooftop terrace available to all guests. Perfect for working, cooking, relaxing or meeting other guests.

Can I store luggage?

Yes, we offer free luggage storage on your arrival and departure day. Just ask at the reception.

Is there a quiet time?

From 10 pm we ask for consideration in the rooms and hallways. The common area remains open, but we maintain a comfortable noise level.

Is the hostel wheelchair accessible?

The hostel has step-free access and a lift to both floors. It’s best to contact us beforehand regarding room availability so we can reserve the right room for you.
