House Rules
Dear guests, we’re so glad you chose Sleep Station Münster as your home away from home! To make sure everyone has a great stay, we kindly ask you to observe the following rules. These house rules form part of the accommodation agreement.
- Please treat the hostel, its facilities and the belongings of other guests with care and respect.
- Bringing or keeping animals is not permitted unless prior written permission has been granted.
- Any person causing damage through intentional or grossly negligent behaviour will be held personally liable.
- Wi-Fi is available to all guests free of charge. You’ll receive the access details at reception.

- Please return your key or key card to reception upon departure.
- A fee of €50.00 will be charged in the event of a lost key.
- Early check-in or late check-out is only possible by prior arrangement.
- During quiet hours, please keep noise to a minimum. Be considerate of sleeping guests.
- Music, loud conversations and parties in rooms are not permitted during quiet hours.
- Please keep your room clean and tidy.
- Storing or consuming food and drinks in rooms is not permitted. Please use the communal kitchen and rooftop terrace for this.
- Moving furniture is not allowed.
- Candles, incense sticks and open flames are prohibited in all rooms.
- When leaving your room, please close the windows and turn off the lights.
- The kitchen is available to all guests. Please tidy up after cooking and wash used dishes promptly.
- Label food items with your name and date. Unlabelled food will be disposed of regularly.
- The hob and oven must be switched off after use.
- Moderate consumption of alcoholic beverages in the kitchen is permitted. Please be considerate of other guests.
- Please report any faulty appliances to reception immediately.
- Please leave sanitary areas clean after use.
- Please wipe up excess water after showering.
- Personal hygiene items must not be left in the communal showers.
- Please wear shower shoes in the shower areas.
- Blockages or defects must be reported to reception immediately.
- The rooftop terrace is available to all guests – please leave it tidy.
- Moderate consumption of alcoholic beverages on the rooftop terrace is permitted.
- The rooftop terrace closes at 10:00 pm (quiet hours).
Moderate consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted in the communal kitchen and on the rooftop terrace. We ask that you remain considerate of other guests at all times.
- Bringing visitors into the hostel is generally not permitted.
- Exceptions may be approved at reception in individual cases.
- Visitors may only remain in communal areas.
- The inviting guest is responsible for the behaviour of their visitors.
- Please sort your waste using the designated bins (general waste, paper, packaging/recyclables, glass, organic waste).
- Food scraps belong exclusively in the organic waste bin – not down the drain.
- Larger waste items or packaging should be disposed of directly in the outdoor containers provided.
- Please leave communal areas clean after use.
- Escape routes and emergency exits must always be kept clear.
- Please familiarise yourself with the emergency evacuation plans upon arrival.
- Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors must not be tampered with.
- Valuables can be stored in the lockers provided. Sleep Station Münster accepts no liability for lost or stolen items.
- External doors must always be kept closed after entry.
- We expect all guests to treat each other in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Discrimination, harassment or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the hostel.

- Outside of opening hours, you can reach the on-call service via the phone number posted at reception.
- In life-threatening emergencies, please call the emergency number 112 immediately.
To protect our guests and the property of Sleep Station Münster, communal areas (entrance, corridors, kitchen, rooftop terrace) are equipped with CCTV cameras. Recordings are made solely for security purposes and are automatically deleted after 72 hours, unless there is a reason to retain them longer.
- CCTV is operated in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and German data protection law (BDSG).
- No video surveillance takes place in rooms or bathroom areas.
- The data controller within the meaning of the GDPR is Sleep Station Münster.
- For questions regarding data protection, please contact reception.
- Sleep Station Münster accepts no liability for the loss or damage of guests’ personal belongings.
- Use of all communal areas is at the guest’s own risk.
